Life on Our Ohio Farm
On our 10-acre mini farm in Ohio, you’ll find Dean, Esther, five energetic kids, and a whole lot of animals. There’s Miles the cat, Trigger the horse, hobby-grazed beef cattle, and the true stars of the show, our dogs. Animals have always been a big part of our lives, and it shows in everything we do.
The start of our breeding journey came unexpectedly, when our oldest two were still toddlers, we welcomed a little Bichon into our home. Watching our children bond with her was magical, and when she surprised us with six puppies, the joy that filled our house was unforgettable. We knew right then that we wanted to share that happiness with other families. Years later, that simple beginning has blossomed into a calling we pursue with purpose and passion every single day.
Our Modern Kennel
Our dogs are raised in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled kennel that prioritizes their health and happiness. The facility includes comfortable indoor living spaces that keep our dogs cozy regardless of the weather, as well as expansive outdoor play areas where they can run, play, and soak up the sunshine. We’ve designed every aspect of our kennel with our dogs’ well-being in mind.
Cleanliness is a top priority. We maintain rigorous sanitation standards throughout our facility, and we’re always happy to welcome visitors who want to see where their puppy was raised. When you visit Blue Diamond, you’ll see healthy, happy dogs in an environment built for their comfort.

Every one of our breeding dogs undergoes specialized genetic testing to help identify and eliminate hereditary health issues in our breeding program. Our mothers receive full veterinary examinations every six months or as needed to confirm they’re in excellent condition to raise strong, healthy litters. Each puppy is vaccinated and dewormed following a vet-approved schedule and receives a thorough health check before joining their new family.

Cavapoos are naturally social dogs, and we nurture that quality from the very beginning. Once puppies get a little older, our children begin daily play sessions with them. This consistent interaction with kids of all ages helps shape puppies that are friendly, confident, and ready to become part of your household. We also implement Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) with every litter, a technique shown to improve stress tolerance, boost immune function, and support healthy neurological development.
